Water Beetle

As with the 'Desert Cliffs' (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ZaXQJR) this piece was also created after being given a three colour challenge and shape prompt. The Water Beetle.

The Water Beetle in an original species of Elder God, who takes the form of a rock-like beetle, resting next to the ocean. He is awakened as two young women venture upon his back. As the Lighthouse in the distance lights up, so do his eyes and the oceans near him. It is unknown if the water beetle is a malevolent spirit or not.
